Potty Training

My son finally decided yesterday that he want to potty train. He was about to pee in my bedroom floor when I asked him if you need to use the potty. His answer "yea" and he actually went. So every 30 minutes I took him to the potty and he caught on pretty well. He even took it upon himself to use the potty with no help.

Later that night we went out to dinner and he kept telling us that he needed to use the potty. He said one word "potty"...lol. After dinner we went to Walmart to pick up some stuff to help Melanie with her eczema (& of course something for Junior because we were so proud) and he actually asked to use the potty again. I could not have been prouder!

Soon we will not need diapers/pull-ups! :]

Update...Trying to start blogging.

My kiddos have been just growing bigger and becoming so smart! My little princess is 3 1/2 years old, and she will be turning 4 at the end of October...I just can't believe she will be 4. My little guy just turned 2 in June and boy of boy is he in the terrible two's. Throwing tantrums, not listening and getting into everything that he could possibly get into.

I guess I will try to end this blog with my visit to the WIC office yesterday. Usually it's a fight to get my children to even entertain the idea of behaving in a office or at a store. One of them has to always act out. They did so good yesterday and I was so proud of them! We went in and signed in...went at sat down...they stopped listening to me a couple of times but not so bad. We got called back and they actually behaved while I confirmed all of my information. Went back and sat down waiting to be called my the nutritionist and all was good. The best part was when they had to stand on the scale. Now Melanie never stands on the scale without a fight. She actually walked into the room and asked to stand on the scale. I was SHOCKED! She stood up there long enough for the scale to beep and she let the lady check her height. Junior, of course, does everything that his big sister does and we had no problem. But when the lady needed to check their iron is was a different story. Junior had no problem but Melanie took a couple of minute to convince that the lady was not going to hurt her. She got up there and let the lady prick her finger. This outing with my kiddos was such a good experience and I will never forget it.

Melanie is 37 1/2 lbs and 38 3/4 inches long.
Junior is 31 1/2 lbs and 34 1/2 inches long.
I my growing babies!

My First Blog!!

This is my first time writing a blog...so exciting. I really don't know what I want to write about first...

So I guess my first blog will be about introducing my munchkins.

Our first is ~ The Princess:

Photobucket

She was born on October 30, 2006 at 1:26 A.M. She was 7 lbs 14 ounces and 21 inches long. She just turned 3 years old, and is such a DIVA. She never wants to get anything dirty, and everything has to be hers. All of the toys...well pretty much everything that exists in the house. She is now fully potty trained...YAY! She still has some accidents, but she is getting better. She loves wearing her 'big girl' panties...but if she had the choice she would wear nothing. lol. She is a very smart little girl, and she amazes me everyday with everything that she knows and says. She absolutely adores her little brother and she acts like she is a little mommy.

Our second is ~ The Prince:

Photobucket

He was born on June 11, 2008 at 9:48 A.M. My little boy was 8 lbs. 3 ounces and 19.5 inches long. He will crawl, walk, run and jump everywhere. He gets into everything...he sure enough keeps me on my toes. He loves to climb on everything, and it scares me half to death. He is learning more and more words every day. His favorite right now is "no" and "mine"...lol. He is growing up so fast. :( He loves playing with his toy cars and balls...and when his sister has those toys there will be a fight.

They really do love each other...they just fight like every other brother and sister do. When they are being nice to each other...they are inseparable. My little princess will stick up for her brother, and make sure he is okay.

Well I guess this is it for my first blog. :)
